Melissa did an amazing job assisting me today. The lady at the loaner car part was also so sweet and helpful. It took a little bit of time to drop off my car, but two different people came to tell me it would take awhile. It really didn’t take that long, but it was nice being informed. This kind staff makes me want to keep coming in for service.

There needs to be a better review to ensure the vehicle is ready for the customer. I found:
- hood unlatched
- someone else's keys in a cup holder
- discarded paper on the floor
- greasy hand prints on door and dash
None are safety issues, just sloppy, sub-standard work, not what one expects from a dealership.

Everything went well, though when they talk to me about the car inspection and what needed to be addressed for my car I was told that one of my headlights was out and needed to be replaced. They said they could do it there. I told him yes please have that fixed with everything else that I came in for. When it came time to pick up my car they told me that they didn't do the headlights repair because they couldn't get into it. I didn't understand how they can't change a bulb. This car is under the Toyota brand so it didn't make sense to me how the Toyota maintenance don't have tools to change the bulbs.

normally I really love Smart Motors and the great service standard you always uphold. The "time for service" dash light in my Camry went on recently. I called your service department to find out more. Was told I was due for a tire rotation and safety check. I asked if I needed an appointment. Was told I could simply pull up to one of the service bays and just wait for my turn and then get taken care of. Never thought I would be at Smart Motors for more than three hours, which I believe in the end was the case. Also was very confused by all of the "appointment only" banners above almost every individual service bay. found out that those were all basically sending a message that was incorrect. Like, what? I am not used to seeing Smart Motors mess up like that.

I wrote a note in the appointment when I scheduled it about a squeaky break and instead of anyone telling me what’s up with it or fixing it I instead just got charged $2 for someone to read my message which seems ridiculous. Then, the airbag and seatbelt warning lights for the front passenger seat were still on erroneously after the appointment. I didn’t want a tire rotation, but after researching what was in the service package I requested for the appointment I now understand why they did that even though I had literally just the prior week switched out my summer tires for all-season tires, so that was totally a waste of everyone’s time. Speaking of time, my dad went to the appointment and waited for over 1.5 hours, by the end of which he asked if the car was ready and he was told something about them not knowing where the car was. Ugh. It was just all a complete mess. Ah well. At least it only cost me $30 and my dad only lost 2 hours of his life. It could have all been much worse.
