I have been a Smart Toyota customer for about 20 years. William was fine and helpful to me personally, but the overall atmosphere and changes in how things are structured seems to be changing at Smart. I will take my business elsewhere. I prefer not to elaborate on this venue.

Short version: an alignment was recommended. I expected that and said yes, please do it. New tires were recommended. I expected that. I had done my research and thought the price was too high so said no to the tires. “Someone “ decided that if I wasn’t buying the tires I couldn’t get the alignment. Very frustrated with the entire visit. Of lesser importance, my appointment was for 10:00am and no one looked at the car until 2:00pm. I needn’t have made arrangements for the entire day. After many years of commitment to Smart, I am unlikely to be back.

Noah was extremely patient and attentive, he went above and beyond to try to assist even though the waiting area was extremely full and he had a lot of customers and multi-tasking to do. Even so, he showed no signs of stress or exasperation. He took the time to explain the inspection that was done on my car and even told me he checked the rotors himself. I really appreciate his customer service skills. However, the issue was that there was an insurance policy through Fidelity that was previously attached to the vehicle—in the past agents were able to look it up and apply it to the invoice. Noah could find no record of this policy, I was under the impression that previous agents had linked the policy to the account so that it wouldn’t be an issue the next time. Someone had broken into my car and removed everything from the glove box, so I didn’t have the owner’s manual or record of the policy, but if previous agents would have noted the account it wouldn’t have been an issue. It’s frustrating to be in that situation with a room full of other people waiting and for the agent not to have the information he needs for the policy.

I am a long time Toyota and smart Toyota customer. I recently bought a new car from smart and have bought approximately 6 Toyotas from smart
About a year ago smart switched software and my account is still messed up. Making my appointment for my new car got messed up. I was supposed to have a wait appointment for an oil change and alignment. When I arrived it was not a wait. So I left the car for the day (1hour shuttle ride to work). I called to confirm it was ready and when I arrived was told the alignment wasn’t done yet. I had to leave for an appointment so I took the car without the alignment and will have to come back (the service manager did say it would be done free of charge).
I purchased diamond coated glass and was told that the coating would be reapplied every time I had the car serviced. I have had to ask and it has only been done once.
I am disappointed with the service processes and efficiency. I will consider other options when servicing and buying my next car
