Very satisfied working with Matt. On the other hand I didn't like leaving with 244 worth of services when I was mainly going in for an oil change. And I got to thinking that I shouldn't have let you rotate the tires since I had a screw in one and was told I needed to replace the tire. It seems to me it defeated the purpose of rotating the tires. I'm usually given an estimate when I go in there and I got to thinking when I got home that I didn't have one in hand. Did I really need the cabin filter changed with only $18,000 mi on the vehicle? The more I think about it the more I think I had services that were unnecessary at the time maybe it's just me...

Even though the service agents I spoke with were friendly - the experience was disappointing and upsetting. I came in for an inspection / 150K service / and a diagnosis of turn signal-headlight issue. I was handed a list of three menu options for a multi-point inspection ... the least expensive of which was over $900 dollars. No talking through WHAT these menu items are.
I told them I had just had an oil change and a cabin filter change recently so I didn't want to pay for that again. They checked my car to verify that and then removed those items.... down to $850.
But this was not including the fee to test the electrical system and determine what the issue with the turn signals was... $230 to look at that.
I am sorry I didn't Google every item listed in the Service Recommendations to determine how necessary it is. The agents were friendly but did not go through each one. I relented. I waited from 8:30am till 12:30pm. I called from coffee shop down the street. The operator said they'd call me back in 5 minutes. No one did. I went back over to the service center and walked through all the bays - didn't see my car.
A manager assured it was almost finished (fuse from recall being fixed). About 1:30pm he brought the paperwork to me and said they were done for $1088. This is a huge amount for a service!
I was presented with their findings about the lights (the whole reason for coming) - it was a headlamp issue which they could order and repair for another $650. I did not agree to that. I was upset and amazed basic maintenance was SO expensive.
I was pointed to my car in the corner of a different front lot...the cashier forgot to give me the keys - came out to give them to me. Inside my car, were still a tag on the rear view mirror and a paper carpet guard on the floor - also no water fountain, no coffee in the waiting area only a vending machine to buy it. Overall feeling of squeezing a customer for $$$$.
This left a terrible feeling - not of the individual humans working there - but the system - your company - taking this much time and money from customers. I had been a happy HYUNDAI customer but as I consider the next car purchase - this will weigh heavily on my decision.

Hunter was very kind but I had to constantly ask how long it would be to get my car back. I was just looking for an estimated range of minutes and had to ask several times before being told it would be ten minutes. Also, and this is outside of Hunter’s direct abilities, but it took over an hour to get my car available to me once I asked for it.
The exorbitant prices of the dealership service dept might be worth it if the customer service matched, but right now, it does not.

I had such a hard time getting a hold of the service department both when I was trying to schedule my appointment and on the day of my service. The automated choice for the service department says that number is not in service and hangs up on you. I have had to call the sales department to transfer me to the service department quite a few times and have told them about the phone issue but it’s never been fixed. The same problem happened on the day of my appointment. They had my car and I needed to authorize a service but I could not get a hold of the service department. I had to call the sales department a few times that day to get through, but it just rang and rang. I would call back and the sales department kept saying how far the service department was and they had to walk all the way over there to let them know I needed them to answer the phone. I’ve been there. It’s not that far. (On a side note, the salesman who I was talking to called me “honey” twice like a car salesman from the 50s. When we purchased the car we had a woman salesperson, but if I would have had a man and he called me honey I would have walked right out.) Once I got a hold of the service department on the day of my service I was able to authorize my service and it was completed without issue. Unfortunately, they had given my child a completely different price sheet than the one they sent to me for the service I was authorizing. There was a $152.68 difference between the two costs. I have one more “free” oil change there from when I purchased the vehicle, but I’m wondering if it’s even worth it to go through all the difficulties. Not to mention the question of if I can even trust them.

Service to my vehicle was not done correctly. Which resulted in me having to loose a day of work. And due to the negligence by the mechanic who left the bolt to the oil pan loose, my driveway is full of oil, which will now cost me $200 out of pocket. I paid over $900 to get my vehicle serviced. I expect for the work to be done correctly and efficiently. Unfortunately you were not able to provide adequate service. Overall I am extremely disappointed with the level of work and lack of accountability on your part.
