My appointment was at 8 AM. I was hoping that by getting an early timeslot, I would get out sooner. Approximately 20 people came and left during the six hour timeframe I was there, waiting for my car to be finished. There was no communication to me about the status of my car, nor was I advised that the vehicle was done until I asked Kevin myself. I personally felt that they had forgotten about me and only remembered when I brought it up.

Although my two previous services were okay, I’ve been greatly frustrated by my inability to make appointments online. You’re appointment website is terrible. You don’t have a comprehensive list of services listed so customers have to either click whatever option is closest or they have to call. If you had all your services available (including the coupons) you’d be able to manage the mechanics schedule better. It’s inefficient to do it this way and it leaves customers waiting way too long sometimes because the mechanic falls behind on cars ahead of them in line. Managing appointments based on service times would help keep customers waiting in the dealer for exactly the time they expected. There’s no point in someone scheduling an 8am if the mechanic won’t look at their car until 1-2 hours later. It just wastes everyone’s time. Creating more efficient scheduling would greatly improve customer satisfaction.

The service advisor, Matt Lopez, quoted us the charges in the phone with an understanding that service fees would include the brake rotar replacement. The bill charged remained the same as the quote but without the rotary being replaced. It was re-serviced instead. The battery replacement took more than 1.9 hours. The longest time Matt said it would take is supposed to be 1.5 hours. Therefore, the services were overcharged without good explanation. When we asked for a phone recording, Matt said the recorder is broken. We have experienced the worst customer services experience from Matt. We will never come back to this dealer for services or buy a car and recommend against my friends to do so.

Kevin is very helpful and so are the other data ????. But after the service I went to charge my car, I charged it to 90% but it showed only can run to 244miles ! Usually with 90% it can run up to around 300 miles, so is it due to the recall n update of the system/program ? Hope the office can reflect this to Hyundai. Thank you !

Matthew Lopez was graciously attentive with any questions I presented to him. However, he did provide the use of a rental while the work was being done. My only complaint was that it dtook so long for the work to be completed. I realize that was beyond his control.

Steven was great. I've had mixed service experiences at Hyundai dealerships and this one was very positive. My tires were rotated, the recall was taken care of and they replaced the hydraulic joints on the hatch. This was supposed to resolve the rattling that I've had for like 10 months on my car and it has eliminated the metal clacking noise, but there is still some rattling, much less, and I'll reach out to Steven for this. It was worth the drive all the way to El Monte from Altadena, thanks!
