This my 1st time visit to Hyundai Service Department to Diagnostic my car in additional to oil change and change window blades.
When the car was done, I received a Bill to pay oil change and window blades.
I got confuse and asked him about the Bill for Diagnostic.
He told me that he didn't charge me which surprise me which made my day feeling good.

Service has been consistently bad. Folks at the service center are very rude. I walked in and was just waiting around for 15 mins before anyone even acknowledge my existence and when I told them I had an appointment they just said “ok just wait”.
I asked the adviser if my Ioniq can be charged after the service and he said sure. Then I get a text that my car is ready, then I go back to the service center, wait another 15 minutes until someone acknowledges me again, they give me the keys, and I ask them if the car was charged they say oh no.
The gentleman takes the car in the back to plug it in, after 45 minutes they come back saying your car is at %48 (it was at %46 when I asked them to charge it)
Complete waist of time!

Our technician Eric, was very nice, helpful and professional. The work completed on our new vehicle was done in a very reasonable time. Due to no fault of Eric’s, we had to wait about 20 minutes until he returned from lunch to get our car even though we had a text that said it was ready. The point is that he has a right to his meal breaks but it’s evident the service center in San Bruno does not have enough staff to handle the number of its customers in the entire peninsula area. It’s a shame and puts a great **** on your staff and reflects poorly on your customer satisfaction and quality assurance. You have a beautiful showroom and great product. The service center needs to meet and exceed that standard as well. Maybe you could train your intake front desk staff to manage the paperwork so the techs can focus more on the technical work being done in the service center. This is how other car dealerships manage their staff. Best and highest use of their employees.
