My Lexus ES300 was serviced for the rear bumper sensors. I acknowledge payment via the link that I was sent however before I paid, I presented the representative several questions and I was shocked of the responses. 1. Would I be required to pay for the sensor that was not damaged that came loose for unknown reasons? The rep stated because it was caused by the body repair shop, Lexus is not responsible. The response didn’t make sense if my vehicle had been serviced by this Lexus dealership 6 weeks ago to replace a sensor that was adjacent to that one. One would think, based on the technician observation he would have noticed if any other sensors were damaged and recommended that one or all sensors be replaced. 2. What happens if another sensor comes loose, would I have to pay for another service to repair that one as well? No response. My concern is, I trust Lexus to repair my vehicle and provide recommendations based upon their observations. This is normal practice when I received other services as I receive a laundry list of recommendations but for this particular situation the rep and the tech turns a blind eye on a potential future issue. Money do not grow on trees and I would like a true observation of my potential vehicle concerns. This time, I did not receive an inspection sheet for unknown reason, as I usually receive one. Additionally, the rep stated my vehicle grill was damage and asked, do I want my vehicle washed? I told the rep, Yes. My vehicle had been damaged for several months and my vehicle had been washed here before without concerns. I picked up my vehicle and it was not washed as I requested. The rep took it upon himself to disregard my request.
