I really like the fact you have a female at the service desk, it’s not an intimidating dealing with a female vs a male, much less pressure for all the up sells. It did take me 2 days and 4 calls to get a service appointment on the phone and making a simple oil change appointment online was super frustrating. Phoning the service department should be easier.

My problem with 2017 ridgeline E model was audio going in and out. I find out this problem is widespread and should be a recall like the Pilot etc but it is not a recall. But I would assume the service dept would be aware of the problem but they didn’t act like. Our first visit we were told there was no problem they could find. The second visit we were told we can’t find the problem. Then I was told the audio needs to be messing up be they could possibly find the problem. So we left the shop and I’m minutes the audio went out again so we went back and was told nobody was available to see in person the audio not working. Lunch. After insistence a mechanic came out and witnessed the problem and said leave it. So on the basically 3rd trip into shop we were told we needed a new audio/navigation unit. You would think with all the audio unit recalls and complaints from various models that it might have been a tipoff to my audio problem.
In conclusion in the second visit into shop when told they couldn’t find a problem I started to say screw it. I’ll go after market and get someone to get us some sound in our E model Ridgeline. But instead I agreed to purchase a new unit installed which is very expensive and honestly should be a recall and find out they don’t have a clue when the part I need can be ordered. Not good. My experience was not good at all. Plus that multi point inspection?? Nothing was mentioned that with 50000 miles I could use some tires. We had a bad experience based upon shoving us off twice by saying “we can’t find anything wrong”. With all the complaints out there they acted like they didn’t have a clue.

She was charging me tire rotation and I had to tell her that was free because I got the tires there. Also when I went to get in the car they had the driver side window down. It rained in and my door was wet.
