My service visit indicated I needed new brakes, so I added that on. Since it would be a few hours, I was offered a shuttle ride home for the afternoon while brakes were replaced but assured they’d be done at end of day. At about 3 pm I was called to ask if I wanted the suggested brake fluid flush and I said yes, I assumed that was part of it. Around 4:30 I realized I had not received a call my Highlander was ready, and knowing the service department closed at 5:00 on Friday and the shuttle driver went home at 5:00, I began calling. Service department 3 times, no answer. Asker the operator to please relay a message that I needed a ride back, did not give 2 hoots of the time situation. Called sales and asked to please walk 20 feet to service and ask them to call me to get ride back. “What’s your name and model?” That’s not the pint dude I need a ride to get my vehicle. Finally I called the cell phone of the driver who had given that to me just in case. With 20 minutes to closing, he left to pick me up (10 minutes away. When I walked in to service at 4:58 pm I got a “Linda I’m so sorry we didn’t get to call you, I’ve been tge only one here since 2:30”. I don’t fault Nikki, I fault your whole operation because no one gave a hoot about me as a customer, except Roma the shuttle driver. I bought this Highlander at Tia dealership and it’s the only place I’ve had it worked on, but I have doubts I’ll go back. And I need 4 new tires but Toyota wouldn’t honor the buy3 get 1 free sale ONE DAY after it “ended”, and after this fiasco I’ll probably go elsewhere for those. You need more staff, and staff that actually give a hoot about customers. If you can’t do the job and be able to call and say it’s done, then don’t say you can do it. And seriously sales can’t pitch in and make a call or relay a message? It’s clearly NOT Better at Bosak.

I asked to have my oil changed during this service. I stated that when I scheduled the appointment a repeated that requetd when I brought the vehicle in to the service rep. The oil was not changed so I asked them to change it. The original service rep was not there. Ne other rep was a said it would be a wait as both oil racks were full. Taking my Toyota today to Merrillville to get changed.

I waited almost 2 hours for an oil change and then find out that the recall cannot be done and my speedometer reading 4 mph too high was challenged that I wasn’t correct about the issue.

The staff were courteous and efficient but when I mentioned an issue in losing connectivity with my phone I was told I would have to come back another day so that the mechanics “could check to see if there were any updates available for my vehicle (2024 RAV Prime)”. I’m very surprised that with all the remote monitoring available on this vehicle that it’s necessary to actually plug it in to some system only available at the dealership to determine its state. This will require another couple of hours of my time.
