Brought a vehicle back based on a Hyundai recall, which occurred at the vehicles 10,000 mark. The service representative was short fused , rude and impatient. She also refused to provide a loaner despite the fact that the issue was an issue with Hyundai, not of our doing.

I had an appt to get my oil changed & tires rotated and have a few warranty item looked at. Apx 2.5 hrs later my car is finished. I pay my bill and I leave. I went to a local store & noticed that my tires were not rotated & I paid for that service. I immediately went back to the dealer & talked to my service advisor. I asked to speak to the service mgr & he was in a meeting & i asked to have him call me when he back. I let her know that I was
upset that I was charged for a service i did not receive. She was very apologetic & immediately gave me a credit for the rotation. I explained to her that I have chosen their service dept because I Always liked it here & felt confident & now I'm feeling like I'm not even sure my oil was changed. I left and about an hr later John the service manager did call me back & absolutely did a great job in recovery. He investigated the issue & gave me a reason why the tires were not rotated. I knew my tires were not rotated because 5000 ago I put on new front tires &,they were still in the front. My rear tires have 25,000 miles on them & i wanted them & paid for them to be put on the front because in 5000 miles I'm going to replace them & wanted to put more wear on them. I told this to my advisor. John told me tge tech didn't rotate them because i already had the newer tires in the front...( do i believe this..not really since I told the advisor how I knew they were not rotated & it was a good angle on how to adress the issue) John said the tech did not communicate to the service advisor about not rotating & therefore I was charged still. I believe the tech didn't do the job & tried to get away with it & thinking I would not notice. (I've learned to always mark your tires to insure they get rotated.) Anyway I wanted to let John know what happened so it does not happen to others. John offered me to credit my entire service & much more. I appreciated the more however, i just want what i pay for & to feel confident it has been done. I hate to complain. John did an amazing job in calling me back & talking to me. I'll be back in 2 weeks when my warranty parts are back in & talk to John in person & thank him but honestly, I'm not sure I'll be back for my service at this point. I'm thinking I need to goto jiffy lube & America's tire for my service needs so I can guarantee my service is done. John did offer for both of us to watch my service being done & this means alot. I don't want anything else other than the service credit which I received.
