No need to reach out. I had not been to the service bay since the new “credit card” policy of 3% surcharge had been established. The sign indicating the new policy was not pointed out before I authorized the work, and when I was contacted to schedule work, the new policy was not communicated. I may be the last person in Wichita that does not have a debit card.. That is my choice, but since consumer rights are not equal between debit and credit transactions, it’s a choice I am comfortable with having made. Had I been aware of the policy, I would have brought my checkbook. You certainly have the right to add a surcharge, just as I have a right to avoid doing transactions with businesses that, as I am preparing to pay for work performed, says, “Oh, by the way, there is a 3% surcharge for using a credit card.” I know this sounds like I’m upset and venting - that’s not the case, it’s just a principle that guides me. I’m not trying to be vindictive - Your organization had plenty of opportunities to communicate this change. It did not. That in itself speaks volumes.

The cap was left off of the washer fluid and it wasn’t filled. We have a huge oil spot on our driveway from an oil leak that happened after service. Very disappointed and had to cancel our travel plans. We will be there tomorrow morning to get determine the cause of the leak.
