I believe Jack tries to advocate for me, but am less certain about the integrity of your dealership’s service relating to the cost of labor. The head gasket was replaced on my Prius about 6.5 years and 86,000 miles ago. I have doubts about the likelihood it should need to be replaced again in the lifetime of the car. Labor costs for the previous replacement were also approximately half as costly. I have doubts that your technicians are being paid twice as much. It’s an emphatic seller’s market for used cars. My pricing trust is low.
