Toyota Escondido Auto Repair Service

Firstly, following the routine maintenance, I was shocked to discover that the steering wheel was shaky while driving, and the vehicle was drifting to the right. These critical safety concerns were neither disclosed to me verbally nor documented on my maintenance report. Instead, they were only noted in Toyota's internal records. Such negligence is utterly unacceptable and places not only myself but also my family and other road users at grave risk. Secondly, despite Mae's recommendation for wheel balancing, the problems persisted even after the service. However, I was still charged $100 despite the issues not being resolved. Thirdly, Mae advised me to replace all four tires as a solution to the problems, insisting that there were no records of tire replacement. However, the tires were actually replaced just five years ago and were in good condition, as confirmed by Toyota's inspection results, which indicated no damage to all four tires. Despite lacking evidence of damage, I was pressured into purchasing four new tires for $800. Furthermore, no tire product details or warranty documentation were provided to me after the purchase. When discussing these matters with another service advisor on May 3rd, I questioned why Mae advised replacing all four tires instead of just two. He immediately agreed with my concerns, which left me feeling deceived by Mae's advice. It became evident that it was unnecessary to replace all four tires, especially without any proof of damage. Upon reviewing my tire records, I found that they have only covered approximately 20,000 miles since 2019, well within the 50,000-mile warranty. Given the severity of the safety concerns and the financial implications of the unnecessary services, I demand a full refund for both the wheel balancing and tire replacement charges. The failure to disclose critical safety issues and the unnecessary recommendations for service have greatly disappointed me. I cannot stress enough the potential consequences if an accident were to occur due to undisclosed issues from Toyota of Escondido. I appreciate your attention to these matters and request prompt resolution.

I really appreciated his prompt communication and his understanding when I expressed I would like my vehicle completed if possible before my work shift so I could avoid expensive Uber charges to commute to work.
