Pat Kelly and the mechanic were five star. Within a few minutes after I arrived Pat moved the vehicle back to have the battery diagnosed. About 10 or 15 minutes later I got a text message explaining the battery was bad. One or two minutes after I got the text I had approved the work to replace the battery. The mechanic finish the work in about 20 minutes. All of the preceding was obviously excellent. After the mechanic finished replacing the battery, he moved the vehicle out of the work bay and parked it on the parking apron in front of the work bay. It sat there about 20 minutes and around 12:30 finally was moved out front where finished cars are parked. As I understand it from a brief conversation with Pat, he took the paperwork to the cashier office a few minutes after that. I waited for about 15 minutes and then ask Pat what the situation was. He suggested I go to the cashier’s office and asked them to let me pay my bill so I could leave. The person I talked to there, found my paperwork and told me it would be ready in a “couple minutes.” I asked if I could just wait by the counter so I could quickly pay. The person obviously was uncomfortable with my waiting and kept saying it would be a just a couple minutes. So I stepped out of the cashiers office and finally got called on my phone 10 minutes later. I paid the bill at 12:55 PM that was an hour and 10 minutes after I approved the work. The work took about 20 minutes, so that means I waited around for the people who moved the car out front and the cashiers office for about 50 minutes. The service managers and mechanics deserve better support than that. No, this tells you everything I know and you don’t need to call me.

Essa was wonderful, as he always is. Today I came in for an oil change. I get a Friends and Family discount but also had a coupon that I received from TE. Essa informed me that it would be best to use the coupon. I also inquired about upgrading to Mobil 1 oil. Essa checked and informed me that TE was out of that so I opted to supply my own oil. The problem occurred when I checked out. The checker gave me the price which was about double what the coupon was for and when I told her that I had a coupon, she seemed annoyed and said that I could not use a coupon with a F&F discount. I told her about the discussion that I had with Essa and she told me that it’s because I provided my own oil, which makes no sense. When I proceeded to explain how I understood things, she became very annoyed because she was having to do extra work to resolve the error. That was poor customer service.
