Francisco greeted me with a smile and treated me like a valuable customer to your service dept. I take my car in every January for maintenance service and he spent the time explaining what the service entailed and then I asked about a few things and he was very kind to listen and answer my concerns. When I left to go home, he asked if I needed a ride and I told him I live close enough to walk. He explained the procedure, gave me an estimate time for pick up and if anything more needed to be done, he’d contact me, which he did. We discussed the items and we both agreed only one of the suggestions probably should be done and I agreed. He was a pleasure to work with and I hope he’s there for my future visits. I brought my car to the dealership with a “check engine” light on and low tire pressure. I mentioned the check engine, but did not mention the tire pressure notification. I also mentioned to the service representative that I had an “oil change required” notification on. This was an error because I had recently brought the car into service. He assured me that they would address the notification.
After a full diagnostic, they determined that it was not an engine or mechanical issue, but a battery problem. They recommended a new battery. I declined installation of a battery because it was DOUBLE the price compared to AAA. I decided to utilize AAA to replace my battery.
Sadly after getting home, I discovered the “oil change required” notification was still on and my tire pressure was low. This made me question if the service department really inspected my car and if they actually did a “full diagnostic” of what was wrong. What exactly does “full diagnostic” mean when inspecting a car? I had simple fix problems and they completely ignored or overlooked those issues. Did they not address them because it wasn’t the reason the car came in? If so, iI do not think that would truly be an accurate FULL DIAGNOSTIC. Forget about the technicalities, let’s use some common sense. I am extremely disappointed and do not trust that I can bring my vehicle to this service department to get the service I need to maintain or fix my car and more importantly, keep my children safe and I safe on the road. I am extremely disappointed.

Did not receive estimate quote when I dropped off vehicle for Toyota service and add on air filter and spark plug replacement, when I picked up vehicle was told spark plugs and labor cost $500. Very disappointed that this was not quoted to me before service. Been coming to this dealership for years, lost trust in this dealership and don’t want to trade in my vehicle anymore. Spoke with service managers on phone, expecting phone call back.

I am so disappointed in Toyota Whittier today, as a woman I feel like I was taken advantage. When I received a call from Joshua for recommendations he made it seem like my total amount would be $380. Come to find out my total for everything was $700. I wish he would’ve communicated with me and explained that this would be additional to what I was already paying. I am so angry that I got scammed for services that shouldn’t have cost almost $400. Unfortunately this is the last time I come here
