After I left today, I realized I am also due for an inspection sticker. Historically either the mechanic or the person at the counter would notice that and go ahead and get it done while I’m there. I compared the vehicle condition forms from this visit and my last one in 2023. Today's visit has the same tire tread depth as last time and shows that all of my brake linings are in good condition when the previous visit showed that they were in fair condition.
I believe the inspecting technician did not do a thorough job and I will have to return to have new ones installed.

My tire rotation only consisted of swapping tires front to back and not from side to side. Usually the front tires are moved back and back tires not only move to the front but also swap sides. That way after 4 rotations all tires have been in all locations. Also my tire light is on and sheet said tire pressure is fine. This makes me wonder how good the inspection was.
