The male cashier processed my paperwork and neglected to return my key fob to me. I was told by him that the car should be there momentarily. I waited about ten minutes, then asked the attendant where my car was and he discovered the error. I had to return to the desk, that cashier was not present. The woman behind the counter readily gave me my key fob. Everything was great except for that one matter.

I’ve been a loyal Keyes Toyota customer since we first leased the car. I’ve always had the car serviced by you. When I booked the appointment for today I was told it would take 2 hours. When I arrived, Jesus said it would be 3. He also said that the 2 issues I need addressed in addition to routine maintenance could not be handled in that timeframe because you were so busy. I waited for 4.5 hours for the car. I texted Jesus twice and didn’t get a response. He’s very nice but that’s not the point. I don’t have the time to wait more than half the day particularly when I now have to come back to have the two other issues addressed. Why did you overbook appointments today, inconveniencing me by having me wait more than twice the time I was originally promised? Why did I not get a response from my service advisor when I texted him twice? I have a service contract with you, my second, and I’m wondering if it was a mistake. Very disappointed and I think I’m entitled to an extra free service.

One of the bolt holes where the skid plate screws onto the car was stripped. The bolt does not secure the skid plate onto the car. Please help me get the bolt hole re-threaded and have the skid plate secured to the car. The technician must have used an air tool to tighten the bolt and as a result the bolt hole threads are now stripped. ****-****-xxxx. Only 3 bolts are holding the skid plate onto the car. Its not safe to drive like, so I need help getting the repair completed.

However, like before your system must generate a work order after check in and give a copy to the customer to prevent any misunderstanding and any changes in the work order must be approved by the customer. The service advisor, Devon, was great and very helpful. My only concern is that I called to speak to Service earlier last week, and I was given a quote for 2 services. When I spoke to Devon, he gave me the correct pricing, which was different than the price one of the service advisors had given me on the phone. It would be very helpful if there wasn’t a discrepancy between the price that a service advisor gives me on the phone and the actual price that the service advisor gives me in person. I appreciate Devon’s help in getting the correct prices for me

Subject: Feedback on Service Experience Dear [Service Team], Overall, my experience was positive, but I wanted to share some feedback regarding an issue that left me disappointed and feeling that my time wasn’t valued. When I called to schedule my servicing appointment, I mentioned that my trunk door wasn’t opening and asked if both the servicing and trunk door issue could be addressed in the same visit. I was assured it could be done if I dropped my car off early to avoid potential backups. I was even given an early appointment to accommodate this request and rearranged my schedule accordingly. On the day of the appointment, I arrived early as instructed, but the advisor didn’t mention the trunk door issue. When I brought it up, I was told it couldn’t be addressed because the team was already backed up and only the servicing could be completed. This was incredibly frustrating, as I had specifically planned my day based on the assurance that both issues would be handled. I understand that service centers can get busy and that delays happen. What I found disappointing was the lack of communication and proactive support. No alternatives were offered, and I was left feeling that my time and effort to plan ahead were not respected. I’ve been a loyal Toyota customer for many years, and my experiences have consistently been excellent. This situation, however, fell short of the standard I’ve come to expect. Due to this experience, I’ve decided to take my servicing needs to a local shop nearby where my time will be valued. I hope this feedback helps improve transparency and communication with customers in the future. Clear expectations and respect for a customer’s time go a long way in building trust and loyalty.
