First, we bought our grand highlander 8 months ago. We were not notified that our 2nd faub was even available, we only found out because we called to check on it.
Regarding my service appointment, I called a week ago for my appointment and it was scheduled for 7:30 and I was told the vehicle would need to be there for 3 hours. I arrived at 6:45 to a male(name unknown) behind a computer that was the most unhappy guy in the world. He said you were not open til 7 and to have a seat. No problem for me. At 7:10 after a morning huddle meeting the female service writer came out and started my write up. I was told it would be about an hour but the service people would not be in til 8. Why would they make me an appointment for 7:30? Why would they tell me the vehicle would need to be left for 3 hours?
My service writer was friendly and professional. The process itself was terrible. In my first 8months of ownership of my first Toyota has left me with an unhappy feeling regarding the service department. Hopefully it will get better.
