overall, my car got its service completed and that was good. seemed like it was so difficult to find my service reservation. they didn't get my number to let me know when it would be finished. I waited while service was being performed. It took an hour longer than advised. When I checked out, I asked for the core fee to be reimbursed, but didn't seem like anyone knew what that was. I went to parts and had to get proof I paid it. I was thinking they should already have my receipt, but I looked it up for them anyway. good thing I had asked for the receipt to be emailed to me. I needed the work done as my car was not driveable but really lost a lot of time. my experience was just ok.

Zachary was wonderful and we appreciate his guest service and courtesy and friendliness. The only negative feedback we have is that the warranty repair took much longer than we were told when first making the service appointment by phone a few days prior with another representative. With such a major recall repair to the engine, Hardin Honda should offer its customers a courtesy loan vehicle. We were disappointed that was not an option, so we had to utilize an Uber and pay out of pocket for alternative transportation while our CRV was in the service garage in order to get to and from work and pick up our children from school for over a 24 hour period. That was disappointing as this was not a traditional service repair but a very important recall repair that we have been waiting over a year for Honda to fix. Also, once the warranty repair was completed and we drove the car home, there was a very unsafe accumulation of gas/exhaust smell that permeated the interior….even with the windows open to allow for fresh air, it was awful and not something we have experienced before. We called the service garage back to let them know and that’s when they said the work done on our CR-V has been causing that to happen and it should go away in a few days. However, we were never informed that might occur after warranty work was completed. This smell is so strong that it makes us nauseous as we drive our CR-V. Overall, this recall repair service has not
lived up to the high quality standard we had experienced previously during the last 28 years as a Honda car family.
