I spoke with Matt Sharp this morning about being charged $133.05 for the rear differential fluid portion of the A16 service on my manager car through AHFC (motor company car) and not only did he repeatedly speak over me, he told me that it was MY problem that he had trouble getting claims paid by the motor company. To make bad matters even worse, he had two different people call me back and leave voicemails to tell me that I’d be getting a refund. Did Matt have the decency to call me to apologize for speaking to me the way he did? Absolutely not. I will never go back to this dealership. And I’ll never refer and friends/family to this dealership for anything. Totally unprofessional and a terrible way to represent the brand.

I work for AHFC and have a manager vehicle (a motor company vehicle). The benefit of the manager car program includes no cost of maintenance by the associate and comes with the expectation that we follow the maintenance minder of the car and get service performed accordingly. I was in for the A16 service, and Aaron said the A1 part of the service is covered but if I wanted the 6 part of the service completed (rear differential fluid drain & replacement), I would have to pay for it. I told him that isn’t the case for the manager cars. I told him that our HALO program is different than the manager program, and he insisted that Matt Sharp told the service staff that the motor company stopped paying on these claims so they couldn’t perform the service unless the customer pays. I chose to have the service performed since that’s my agreement as part of the manager car program - I needed the A16 service performed as indicated on the maintenance minder. I paid $133.05 out of pocket for something that the motor company covers. I’m extremely disappointed that Hardin Honda and any of its associates decide that they get to decide what benefits from the motor company I get as a manager with AHFC. I look forward to receiving an immediate refund of my $133.05 back to the card on which the transaction took place. I will NOT be seeking reimbursement from the motor company for your error. The right thing to do is refund me, bill the motor company for the service like you should have done in the first place. Please call me to confirm the refund has been processed.
