I made an appointment for service. Upon check in I was informed that the analysis may take some time so I left car and waited for an update. When I did not receive a call I called and was informed that Cezar had left for the day and there was no update. I do not believe my vehicle was actually at on Tuesday. On Wednesday I called for an update late morning and was informed Cezar was off. I asked for an update and was not given one and to call later. I called later that afternoon and was I again informed they had no update and to call later before closing at 6:00. I decided to go in person. Initially there was no update but then was quickly informed the car was ready! What?!? I never approved repair work and then was never informed it was ready. When I asked for detail on the analysis and the checks done I didn’t get the impression the fuel injection system was looked at which is what I asked Cezar to check. My parents vehicle (Pilot) had a very similar issue and there was a recall to replace the fuel injector. I don’t have the confidence that this specific request was actually done. I rented a car for 2 days during this useless service visit. Had I was informed the technician was not going to see the vehicle on the day of the appointment I would have expected Cezar to offer options. “If you come back tomorrow or Thursday, the technician will look at it then” but that was not offered. I received a text the day before saying “as a PRIORITYcustomer….” I would have expected more. Or at least a call from the service department to me instead of me having to call 3 times and an in person visit.
