My sixteen -year-old son is actually the one who brought it in. He said David was excellent, very helpful and knowledgeable. He thoroughly checked the car for other problems that It may be having as well as giving it a carwash. What he found it to be needing was right in line with our private mechanic. On the whole, very disappointing. Eileen's service and support was good, but that's about the only positive. My major issues:
1) A recall ball joint replacement was performed. After the car was delivered to me and I was driving home on the freeway, it pulled to the right noticeably. I had to return, and they re-aligned it. Why wasn't this checked???
2) After I got home and looked through through the paperwork, I noticed the tire tread depth listed in the Inspection Sheet was listed as 9/32". This seemed strange to me for tires with 21,000 miles, so using my own gauge, I measured them at 4-5/32". A big difference! My conclusion at this point is that your readings were faked. Was the rest of your worked faked also??
3) Also on the Inspection Sheet, I noticed that the "satisfactory" boxes for the engine and cabin air filters had not been checked. This concerned me since I had been driving in dusty conditions, and had asked specifically that they be checked. So it was back to your dealership a 3rd time. Eileen showed me that, if you hold the sheet to the light just right, you could see that the yellow boxes had been checked. This could have been pointed out to me when the car was returned to me initially!
I realize that you (Surprise Honda) are not responsible for this difficult to read sheet, but it still detracted from my experience.
