They were trying to charge me almost 60 dollars for my service today even though I was assured prior to my visit that this was a recall service free of charge. I'm under the impression that this was not relayed in the system, just a heads up.

The recall work was done. It is a concern that the part arrived with you on the 11th October but no one advised us, and it was only when we called in for an update that it was spotted. The last time we came in for work to be done, it was a shambles, very unlike the Honda experience I got used to in Colorado Springs. I hope this new facility improves , so far I am very underwhelmed

The overall pricing seemed high and the service tech told me that the car needed both a brake fluid change and new antifreeze. The car already has new antifreeze and I doubt that the brake fluid was checked. I suspect that these two items are recommended by Honda based on mileage, but that is not how it was presented.
