1. Scheduled an appointment for AC not working well, window not going up well, radio crackle. Car returned nothing fixed. Couldn’t get it to crackle and blamed tree sap for the window. Window still isn’t working properly today.
2. Walk-in with the crackle, leave the car. Honda needs to order part and I take the car home. Wasted day.
3. I come back to get the tuner replaced. Start the car and the dvd and crackle was there. Means someone didn’t test the car and also means you guys didn’t try to diagnose an intermittent problem diligently. I call you, you don’t pick up. I leave a message. You don’t call back and the car isn’t fixed. Bonus you guys break the DVD player. Wasted day.
4. I call you and leave a message 2 weeks later. You don’t call back. I make an appointment through phone a week later. Trying to get it fixed before the holidays.
5. I bring the car in. You’re not there so the rep doesn’t understand the issue. You guys take the car on driving tests which was unnecessary and didn’t address the problem I mentioned which was that the satellite radio wasn’t working while driving. You guys can’t reproduce the crackle and have to order a DVD player. Wasted day and original problem not resolved.
6. I gotta come back again for the DVD and Again sometime when the radio is crackling so you can verify that I am again telling the truth.
7. Maybe you fix it on the 7th time, but the laws of science say that’s not likely given our past experience. It’s actually more likely you guys break something else.
Help me out Johnathan this has been awful. You talk to me like a bro. You’re not taking care of me like one. What you could have done better is call me back. You can believe me when I say there’s something there and instead of advocating for your service rep, insist that your customer is right and push your service people. I guarantee there are people in your service department that need to be motivated. In my experience if you want to give customers a good experience, be on their side. I don’t feel like you’re on my side.
That has meant a huge waste of time for everyone. Get the job done right the first time! Aim high. By the end of this I will have cost everyone a lot of money, created a mess, made people unhappy and maybe even affected people professionally. It all coulda been better if your department cared a little more from the start. I’m surprised and completely disappointed that I haven’t heard from a manager. Either by your request or because of my inconvenience. I would have brought in a manager as soon as things went south. I will now I suppose.
I look forward to working this out with you guys. I hope in the end that I have a working car and that you guys improve your service. I’m totally recoverable from this. I don’t hold grudges. The best customer relationships and stories are forged through recovery. You have an opportunity for that.
