Sierra Subaru changed the oil in my Subaru and started an oil consumption test. The mechanic overfilled the oil. The dip stick indicated the oil was overfilled by 0.5-0.6 qt. Jaime directed a mechanic to correct the oil level. The oil was brought down to about 0.05 to 0.1 qt above the full line.
The service provided by Sierra Subaru on 6/1 was not extraordinary because Sierra Subaru overfilled the oil. Had I not caught that it would've posed a risk to my car's engine. Additionally, I'm worried that when it comes time to measure the oil at the end of the oil consumption test the amount of oil lost will be compared against the full hole on the dipstick rather than the line that the oil was filled to, resulting in an artificially lower oil consumption reading.
