I think that they did the best that they could but since I found the encounter stressful and frustrating I can’t say that it is extraordinary. No one said we will help you figure this out. Just—we can’t replicate the problem therefore there is nothing we can do. Contact Subaru Customer Advocates and see what they can do. Until it is a persistent problem we can’t do anything. So no not extraordinary maybe just above ordinary.

Rafael (individually) was absolutely wonderful, courteous, and communicative. I would give him 5/5 stars. However, my experience with the rest of the dealership including communication amongst the service department, but not limited to the service department, has been terrible. Amongst many other issues in my only 2 months at this dealership, some of the issues with service in particular included unreasonable wait times and a lack of communication. When I went to have my windshield inspected on 4/8 I had an appointment and still had to wait an hour to be seen for an inspection that took 15 seconds. They said it was because they were waiting for a manager for the inspection but when I made the appointment they had assured me that this would not be an issue, which I needed to take into consideration time wise because I had my toddler with me and other obligations that day. Then this most recent time, I was told when I made the appointment that the windshield replacement would take 3-4 hours and that I would leave with my car after that. Upon arrival to my appointment I was informed that I would not get my car back until the next day. All of this would have been fine if it had been communicated to me originally when I asked over the phone. I rearranged my work day and did not arrange for a ride home because of the information I was given. I live 20 miles away and had to sit in a cigarette smoke smelling car with a stranger (Lyft) which also made me uncomfortable due to Covid, especially being pregnant. But I had no other way to get home. All of this could have been avoided if the person I originally spoke to would have given me the correct information. I also have tried to call the service department on several occasions and am frequently directed to voicemail so communication in general is very lacking. I want to be clear that Rafael is the exception to all of this and he was very considerate and provided great service. All of my other issues with this dealership are with other departments but it’s disheartening that I have had so many issues when I’ve only had my car for 2 months.
