When I scheduled this, I informed staff the windshield replacement/calibration would be under an insurance claim, however, only one receipt with all services was calculated/provided. I need a separate receipt to include tax/labor total to submit to insurance for reimbursement. I will call Service Dept to request this on 7.20.22

I called before driving out to get my car serviced. I understand there are not appointments for oil changes. I arrived within 10 minutes and was then told the wait would be over two hours and I should come back in a couple hours and maybe it would work then. I expected that I’d be told when I called that the service dept was busy. It would have saved me time and frustration if I’d just been told that when I called. I did say I was coming right over. Your system does not lend itself to customer satisfaction.
Also thought I was getting my tires rotated but discovered after reading my paperwork that was not done and that it was not due. I would have appreciated being told that and how many miles were needed before it was necessary.
The dealership is always urging additional service work that could be done. That’s fine. That’s your business. I accept what I want. I needed a couple of air filters and did accept to have that done along with a refresh of the air system. I did receive a quote. I was offered a discount when I hesitated. It amounted to around $14. Okay, not as much as I’d expected/hoped but I did not ask. Biggest surprise was that replacing the cabin air filter was $61. Most quotes on the filter cost are under $30. That, i.e. the refresh and the cost of the refresh portion raised both eyebrows. I’ll figure out how to replace the cabin air filter myself in the future. I did that with an earlier vehicle I had serviced at Hosmer. Thanks for the discounts but I’d hoped for better.
