Too expensive, they charged me $100 for the part and $625 for a job that I’m sure didn’t take them more than an hour to do it.

This is a review for the SERVICE DEPT. I have been taking my car to MK Smith for several years (car is 2019) for regular maintenance and a major repair resulting from damage to the exterior. You would never know that this small town dealership has any concern for return customers or values their local clientele by the manner in which they handle their customer service. I did a drop off of my vehicle the night before my appointment scheduled with Carlos. I never received a call from Carlos asking me about the needs of my visit or any other concerns. My appointment was at 10:30 in the morning and I had to track him down several times throughout the day until I finally got a hold of him at 3:30 to tell me my car was ready to be picked up. It wasn't until the next day that I noticed the tire rotation, that was stated in my paperwork, never took place because they did not find my wheel lock. Carlos did not make any consistent attempt to get ahold of me to find out where the wheel lock was located. (No voicemail, text or email) However, the most startling thing is that the paperwork stated the tire rotation had been completed. I then left a message for Don Harshfield, the manager of the service department, letting him know what took place. I never received a response from him whatsoever. It is clear to me that this Service department has little concern for their customers and that is so disappointing. I value contributing to businesses in my community, but I will no longer be sending my car to MK Smith Chevrolet.

The fee Smith Chevrolet charges to program a key fob is unconscionable. What compounded the issue was Jennifer told me I would be charged the $175.00 fee whether the fob was successfully programmed or not. At that point, I couldn't leave fast enough. And I won't be back. What a scam.
