It seemed WAY too busy. Overall I waited for three hours (I tried to understand the circumstances) seeing a total jam of people waiting and expecting service and then at the end a total lull of customer flow. Can’t there be some appointments after or close to noon?
I drive out to San Rafael from the city - BECAUSE I HAVE LOVED THE SERVICE. I was not entirely pleased today. A client who’s service was scheduled after mine arrived early and was attended to for over 20min while I waited. I also didn’t feel like there was an attempt to be sincerely invested. I miss the other people I have worked with at RAB - especially Dominic Mancina.

I hate to be “that guy” who complains about everything but I can’t expect a better experience next time if I don’t.
This was my second time having my car repaired there for the same problem. The problem was the sun screen retracting. The first time I didn’t check the repair before I left. I stopped on the way home and realized it was still broke. I rescheduled another appointment and repair date.
This time the repair took much longer because of parts. While waiting My service guy kept me posted on the updates. However as we neared the end , I was told the car “should be ready tomorrow “(Thursday). I replied I would be out of town until the following Monday. I never heard if the car was in fact ready for pick up any time until I called to ask late Monday morning.
When I picked up my car I inspected the interior of the car because I knew it had been taken apart. I saw there appears to be white grease or similar on the headliner and rear seat area. Also I saw the carpet appeared to clean and vacuumed except under the mats as if they vacuumed without removing the mats. These were small things and were minor overlooked items.
I read my paperwork of repair while waiting for the grease clean up. I saw the checked and adjusted my tire pressure to 36psi in front and 39psi in the rear.
I finished at the dealership and left. On the way home the car told me the right rear tire was low at 35psi and the others were at 44 41 and 42. I was now really upset at what was said was done when it wasn’t. I phoned my service representative who appogized and understood my complaints.
I bought a Mercedes because of their attention to detail so that’s why I am “that guy”. Thank you

My S63 was delivered to me with a sloppy finish on the Resistall coating. The trunk and hood had visible lines on them. Also the Resistall sticker was put on askew and looked horrible. Had to call over the service guy Anthony and complain. Anthony was good and listened to me and understood this was crappy workmanship and said he'd polish it out further and fix the sticker. I wait about ½ hour and when car was ready, it looked WAY better and the sticker was put in a better place with care. Anthony saved the day. I was just surprised that the person doing the Resistall application was so sloppy and couldn't realize that this was a $160k car (S63) and the owner expects outstanding service and care. Anthony got it for sure.

Steven was nice, however, he did not accurately explain the bill. We purchased 4 new tires and was told the $30 installment of each tire was included in the price he quoted. It was not and was a separate charge when we reviewed the bill. Also, upon pickup for a replaced passenger side view mirror, Steven should have walked around the car with us to make sure it was completed correctly. It was not and we had to go back in to tell him to repair it properly. At first he tried to explain the wear was sun damage (our car is parked indoors) and the housing was not properly fitted. He did take quick action to get it fixed and apologized. We bought a Mercedes because we expect excellent service and customer care- not dishonesty. The car is fine for now, but we did expect a different level of service and honesty.
