I was not kept adequately informed about the nature of the problem with my vehicle ( purchased a month ago from MB of Marin); nor when I could expect that the repairs would be completed. I understand and am sympathetic that the service department is understaffed due to Covid and that repairs take longer than usual. However I would have appreciated a call to explain the situation so I could re-organize my schedule around the complication of not having a car. Frankly I was surprised not to be offered a loaner for six days since my car was under warranty.

The MB team failed to complete the service during my last visit. I wasn’t told about this failure until I had already left the dealership. So, to have the MB team complete the service, I drove back another 3hrs for this service. Now, during this service, I asked them to also replace a broken plastic piece. The MB team replaced the piece, but it was a completely different color and does not match. I only noticed this after I left MB once I arrived at my hotel. No one on the MB team told me they were going to replace the plastic piece with a different color. I wouldn’t have gone forward with this cosmetic fix if I knew it would be a different color. I am very disappointed and shocked in the failure of the MB team to do a completed service from the last one and now the team just sent me out with a different color seat. I have yet to hear from someone about how they will fix the issue of the wrong colored replacement.
