I live in Tucson but bought the truck in Yuma. I have family in Yuma so can make an appointment while and coordinate a service apointment too. I made a reservation online and received a confirmation number on a Wednesday, sent a follow up text to my sales rep, and was out in touch with the service rep on Thursday, for an appointmemt on Friday morning. I drove to Yuma in order to be on time to the morning appointment. When I arrived to drop off the truck I was told I don't have an appointment and my vehicle would get squeezed in at some point throughout the day, but that it should be ready by noon. When I sent a follow up text at 1:30 I received no reply so I got a ride to the service department to check status. It was not ready for another hour. I was told again that I had no appointment and that the truck would be worked into line. It was ready an hour later. Levi the service rep was very helpful, made eye contact, and shook my hand. He apologized for the disconnect between the online service request system and the actual availability of service appointments on the schedule. He suggested I call next time....which I had done this time.
This was the very first service appointment since I purchased the truck.
In addition, the salesman Jesus had previously texted me about getting some "stickers on my windows" with some "special adhesive" which are important for my gap coverage purchased when signing the financing paperwork. The stickers sounded weird to me but I let Jesus know when I would have the truck at the service department. He coordinated to have the "stickers" added while the truck was on site. When I arrived to pick up the truck I looked for stickers and didn't see anything new. On Monday I had my truck detailed and it was pointed out to me that every window has an etched number on it. That part is totally fine. Looking closer, every number is surrounded by a smugged looking circle around each number. The passenger door has what appears to be scratches up the window lining up with the etched numbers...as if someone rolled down the window while the numbers were being etched and spreading up the window.
I bought a $62,000 Denali HD with clean and clear Windows. During the very first service every window was ruined with some etching when I was told I we having stickers added.
I have already sent pictures to my sales rep for this issue to be escalated. I expect these to be completely returned to new/original clear Windows.
