First and foremost, Carlos was awesome to deal with. Unfortunately, GMC is apparently in the business of f*cking over their customers. I was basically sold a lemon at the San Diego GMC dealership. The 2016 Malibu had a recall on it for the pistons and o rings. I was not aware of this when they sold me the vehicle nor did anyone from said dealership tell me about the recall. I purchased this vehicle with barley 7000 miles on it, today it has 21 thousand miles on it. Now it has a rebuilt engine and no warranty on the work that was done after the basic warranty runs out at either 60 thousand miles or in 2021. So if it messes up again, it’s out of pocket for me. What a joke. The car does not run like it did prior to this bullsh*t, it will never run the same bc the engine was opened and repaired. This recall was not my fault, but yet I get screwed. Then the best part, I go to pick up my car and I have to pay a $3 HANDLING FEE!? Are you kidding me? It’s not the money, it’s the principle of it. I will never. never. never purchase a vehicle from GMC again, nor will my family. I’m left with a 2016 with 21 thousand miles on it with a rebuilt engine and basically no trade in value. I’m literally screwed with this car. SHAME ON YOU GMC! you should of done the right thing and replaced my engine. This company is a joke and rips off their customers.

The service agent I dealt with was great and I had no problems with him at all, BUT I had a nail in my tire and was told it could not be repaired and that I needed to have my tire replaced. However, I got another opinion and my tire DID NOT need to be replaced and I was almost charged $200+ that I didn't even need to spend. Just very disappointing that after buying my brand new car from your dealership that I would still be subject to your organization trying to get more money out of me.
