Telling my wife 2 hrs for an oil change and tire rotation and it actually taking 3.5 hours is pretty ridiculous. If it is backed up that much, just be upfront and say we aren't taking anymore appointments or give a realistic time frame. Calling it "Quicklane" is kind of false advertising.

As I was looking over my receipt I didn't see any type of employee discount on my parts or services even though I brought it up a couple of times during my visit and as a ford plant employee of 22 years I know I have received a discounted rate in the past.... another thing that has happened in the past has been a complimentary wash of my vehicle after my service was complete..... but not this time, Hell.... I did not even get a little paper floor mat put in my vehicle... let's just say this was my last visit to Crossley.... and I will be informing my quality liaison at the plant too...

Although I was very well-informed along the way by John as to additional collision repairs for my 2007 Toyota Sienna CE, when I picked it up today at Gary Crowley Ford there was immediate rattling noise coming from under the hood. It wasn't there before the accident. I brought it to the attention of Howard L. , a sales manager who took it on a brief test drive. He attributed it to faulty struts. John or a mechanic in the collision department hand wrote an estimate on my final "estimate" for roughly $500 in labor + $500 in parts to replace struts and Stutz mounts. Their theory was that perhaps my broken windshield was due to pre-existing strut problems prior to the accident. Not so. I have gone with a multiple-slow, cracked windshield for years without replacing SND their has never been that noise prior to my accident.
Howard suggested I leave the vehicle at the collision department which was my intention when I brought it back not 10 minutes after I left the lot. I trust the final repair will be made on the struts so that I can drive safely away with peace of mind. There's a reason I carry good insurance with State Farm on 6 vehicles. I wouldn't want to pay my $500 deductible and immediately drive away only to owe an additional $10XX.**** on the vehicle for struts,strut mounts that were obviously not giving me problems prior to the accident.
