We received a text saying our service was completed and the car was washed but when we arrived an hour or so later the car had not been washed so had to wait nearly another hour. Had I known it would take that Long I would have taken my car without the wash.

I was not told ahead of time that I would have to get an enterprise car. I was taking a friend to the airport after dropping off my car for service. Normally, getting a loaner car from DH takes 5 extra minutes. Getting the enterprise car took almost an hour and really stressed me out for making it to the airport on time. The enterprise car was disgusting and had a weird smell in it and stains on the seat- I know that's not DH's fault, but It may be beneficial to know about this experience your customers are getting. Additionally, when I got my car back, it was absolutely filled with ash from all the latest fire ash. I haven't opened my windows once during this fire and smoke time. I understand that the techs were driving the car and listening for car sounds and therefore ash was going to come in. However, no one cleaned the car out after it got filled with ash. It was really unpleasant. It would have been prudent for the techs to rinse the car before driving it and getting all the ash from the outside of the car on the inside. As well as cleaning out the ash after it got filled. I think I'm ready to try the Portland VW dealerships for service after this experience.

My 2013 VW GTI is 4 years and 50,000 miles old. In that time it has needed 2 new water pumps, a new battery, a new head gasket, new upper timing cover, and new lower timing cover. All service and maintenance has been completed by **** Hannah in Portland and Vancouver. This was the third time the car has been in the shop for issues related to the head gasket/timing cover. When I picked the car up, the "check bulb" light was on, despite being in the shop for service 3 times in the last month. All the bulbs were working, and the technician was unable to identify the problem. I was told it would take another day, plus a diagnostic fee to identify the problem. I've been looking forward to enjoying driving my car problem free, but in the time I've owned the car, I've rarely had the opportunity to do that. Gary has been communicative and customer oriented while I've been working with him. However, this has not always been the case with other representatives, and too often communication has been poor, and service representatives have not done what they say they'll do.

My car horn is going off every time I touch the steering wheel. It is not safe to drive. I am having it towed back to your shop. I called immediately and a man answered the phone but he was very unsympathetic. He just gave me the number for roadside assistance (which wanted 167 dollars to tow it to your shop) and he said no one would look at and told me no one would look at it until Tuesday ruining our three day week end...
