Went in for my brakes squeaking. I was told that they couldn’t find anything wrong and that they (Darrin and the tech) couldn’t replicate the sound. Yet while leaving the service center they squeaked at the first stop. Now I have to go to a different shop to take care of the issue.

I was very upset at how we were treated and the lack of communication. We had to drive to the service dept in Vancouver from Gresham Oregon just to find out what was happening with my Jeep. At that point I just asked for my keys to take it elsewhere.

Poor communication. She called today and said my car was ready. I drove 30 miles to get the car (they have had it for 10 days) and found it really was not ready. Oops! This is quite unacceptable. Credibility is now nonexistent.

I have to say my first experience with the Vancouver **** Hannah Dodge service center did not go well. At first the communication from Kelsie was clear and in agreement that the vibration was there and was not normal. But later after Ed from DSI came to inspect it, it then was considered normal. The conversation with Kelsie about whether or not the problem I was experiencing was actually happening as well as if it was normal could have been handled better. After a test drive with Ed from DSI he also agreed the problem was there but he said it happens frequently with the Pro-Comp lift. And that the only remedy is adding a spacer to drop the carrier bearing by about 3/4 of an inch. And that it is not a guarantee to fix the vibration. I have an appointment with DSI to have the likely solution (lowering the center carrier bearing) applied on this coming Wednesday. Sounds like that bill will be coming out of my pocket. After speaking with Tony from DSI I feel much better. I asked if my not coming in sooner to get re-torqued is a problem or affect my warranty and he said no problem as long as we get it in now and taken care of.
Another thing that disappointed me was I specifically called and left a voicemail asking Kelsie if she would wash my truck before I would come pick it up. She replied via text message and said “Yes Sir we will absolutely wash it:)” But when I came to pick it up it was dirty. I brought it to her attention and she said “I didn’t have anybody to wash it” and just left it there with no other suggested remedies. I get the feeling that she was not wanting to go out of her way to help me after the uncomfortable previous conversation about the problem with the vibration.
So all in all I’m not happy with my first experience with the Vancouver **** Hannah Dodge service department so far. Looks like I will have to solve the problem with DSI myself. On the bright side I love the truck and hopefully it doesn’t have any problems. Because even though I’m only 10 minutes away from the **** Hannah service center I will likely look for someone else to service my truck. That kind of **** for both of us!
