Loved my service guy! However, The fact you have 30.06 signs all over prevents law abiding citizens, who are statistically ~98% LESS likely than a non LTC license holder to commit crimes, to be literally unable to do business with you unless they are forced to cause multiple people to know they are armed! Rather than just being able to walk in and NOT create any kind of scene, I had to ask for a manager, inform that manager I was carrying, the manager provided me a lockbox, at which point I was forced to unholster my weapon, unload it and render it to him in order to step foot inside. While I attempted to be discreet, I am positive it created WAY more of a commotion than allowing this law abiding citizen entry with a legally carried firearm in accordance with my second ammendment rights. Not to mention that the potential for accidentally discharging the firearm while doing so increases exponentially, as opposed to leaving it in its holster, concealed. I hope the powers that be are willing to look up the crime statistics which the state of Texas is legally required to collect on LTC holders vs the population at large, rather than just a knee jerk reaction because someone doesn’t like firearms. With that said, welcome to Texas :)
