I had a transmission fluid service and brake service. When I got home, I checked my transmission fluid and it is still black. I called back the service advisor and he told me to dropped by so he can check it. I showed him the color comparison the 2011 Rav4 and 2008 Highlander that was service two weeks ago on a paper towel because the transmission fluid color of 2008 Highlander is red. After he smelled the transmission fluid of the 2011 RAV4, he concluded that it is good. Also he said that there is a difference between transmission fluids of the Rav 4 and the Highlander. Based on my research, the color of a new transmission fluid should be red.
As of now, I am still worried for the Rav 4 to be driven on long distances.
I hope that this issue can be resolved.

Ok, drop the “we are excited”. Everything went well because of Ryan Horn was down to earth and very professional the whole time. And I don’t need that. He could tell and politely adjusted on his own. I am an ex Grey Chevrolet parts guy from the 80’s. I now have almost 32 years in the shipyard. Ryan seems to already understand how to deal with people. You can’t train that. No matter how much you try. He is just a good guy and a smart one. Make sure you don’t try to mold him into some robot. He is exactly what I want to deal with when I come in there.
