Just one note. It would be great when a service person service quotes for work that they always include by saying the total with tax and fees. Not just parts and labor.

Brent and the Service Department at Heartland always recognize me, and a couple of the guys, including Brent, even know me by name, which I appreciate. I appreciate that they don’t try to sell me made-up services, like “engine shampoo”. I trust that at Heartland, I’m getting great service, with factory parts, at a fair price. I appreciate that my father’s military service, and my own military service, is recognized with a “Veterans Day Discount” and a handshake.

One hour for scheduled maintenance seems excessive, we had a dash light on, mark identified the cause upon checking the truck in however it still took an additional hour and a half to confirm the diagnosis that was given. We where told that we would be updated as service progressed, we received no updates at all. After 2-1/2 hours we approached the check in desk to see my truck sitting outside ready to go. Again we waited another 15 minutes. While waiting we witnessed gentleman with no appointment who was provided “quick service” and was in and out in under 20 minutes. He was checked out in front of us while my truck was sitting outside. I was offered no apologies for the delay, no explanation. 2 hours and 45 minutes to do a 10k maintenance oil change and confirming the diagnosis previously given the remedy being we need to order a part from Portland nothing was fixed.

Ms. Shaw was very professional, and courteous during the two hours I was here. She did not try and force any suggested work onto me, and kept me aware of how the maintenance was progressing on my vehicle. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
