Alex was great. We had our battery changed out and picked up the van. Started to drive home and the “check engine “ light was on. We had to turn around and bring it back. When I looked at the paperwork, check engine light was written on it and checked the red box. I’m glad we didn’t make it all the way home, but not sure why it wasn’t caught before it was returned to us.

Austin was very pleasant to work with. He explained that because of the Tecall, the Dodge Emblem needed to be taken off because there is a chance that if the airbag deployed, it could be like shrapnel and cause injuries. It looks strange to not have it on the wheel, but better safe than sorry. Maybe I could get a Dodge Ram Sticker in its place. I have another appointment to figure out where in the engine compartment the Radiator Cooling Relay is located for the High Speed. He asked a mechanic about it but he had never worked on one so Austin is going to investigate the problem. I am all about safety and if my vehicle continues to heat up since the relay switch is bad, the vehicle will be useless to me. I do hope he will be able to find someone who knows more about the problem.

My experience today started poorly from the beginning. After checking in (Alex was great) I watched Oliver basically bully another customer into having to move their car so he could back my truck out and move it into the shop. The lady was upset that I felt obligated to apologize just because it was my truck. I was told that because I "had driven all the way from Kingston" that my truck was too hot to work on despite it sitting outside in 34 degree weather for 30 min before it went into the shop therefore my work would be delayed. When the work was done I was informed that something went wrong with a seal and that in order to resolve that, they essentially had to start over and it would be another 3 hrs wait. When I got home, I went to open my hood to ensure no leaks and there was a huge, greasy handprint on my hood. I have purchased several vehicles over the years from West Hills / Haselwood. I have trusted them with servicing those vehicles and others. This was the single worst experience I've ever had in any of those encounters. Very disappointed.

Mike was excellent at communicating status of issues with my Jeep Cherokee. It took quite a bit longer than expected to get tow hitch installed. The wiring unit had to be brought in from Olympia which cost another day. I bought a tow package and was under the impression the "package" included everything required. It did not. As I have stated in another survey, your advertising online under vehicle details mechanical for all 2021 Keep Cherokee Latitudes shows the tow package is included in the cost of the car but that was not the case.

Darcey, was the best service manager I’ve ever had the pleasure to conduct business with.
