The work was poorly managed, way to expensive and charges that should not reasonably be on my bill are there. I was told an estimate and the final bill was twice what I was expecting. I was charged 360 dollars for a job that takes less than 1/2 an hour because I have done this work myself in the past. All in all having to wait for parts, having new parts Fail from the manufacturer (I doubt) and missing two delivery deadlines when I needed my vehicle is just poor customer service. Having to call for a status three times after deadlines were missed. To expensive, too poor o customer service, and then to have only one thing of three issues completed and none of the recall work that I know my normal mechanic told me about for my vin number even being mentioned. Well too much is too much. I will be contact dodge directly and have them review the bill and all of the charges. Including carges for shop supplies (none used) no old parts returned to verify the charges were correct. No old parts to prove new ones where needed or installed. The entire event reeks of being taken advantage of and abused by a local business. SHAME!

I had a scheduled appointment at 8:30am that had been set for two weeks. However for some reason that was later blamed on a computer glitch my appointment was moved to 11:30ambthe same day. The service was slated for a 1/2 to full day and I thought by scheduling for the first slot in the morning after Thanksgiving I could be out of the dealership at a decent time. However, I was wrong. Instead of asking me why I was showing up 3 hours early to my appointment the service rep just checked me in and let me sit in the waiting area till 12. At which point I swung by to see the progress of the installation. I was informed that my car hadn’t even been put on the lift and that it was my fault for not knowing that the appointment was changed. The service rep was condescending and combative and told me that I would not get my vehicle back that day because I had been informed that it could be a full day of work. I explained that I had made evening plans with my family that required MY car since we were going up to the mountains and needed 4x4. The rep just continued to blame me for not checking sooner even though I had done everything in my capacity when the appointment was first scheduled. What the rep didn’t know was that service was being performed as a courtesy to correct another previous snafu on the dealerships side and so I escalated my issue to the sales manager for the dealership that had helped me get everything set up. After doing so the service department changed their position and said that they could get the vehicle done same day. They asked me when I needed the vehicle and I told them I needed it by 3:30 and they said they could do that. At this point I have been at the dealership 5 hours. I was told twice by the service rep that there was no issue getting it done by 3:30 but when 3:30 came I was told that they didn’t know when it would be done and that I was being “impatient”. Finally at almost 4:30pm and over 7 hours of waiting at the dealership for a 2 possibly 3 hour job I was on my way. The delay cost me an entire holiday day off for no reason and caused me to be late for the event I had purchased tickets for with my family. This is just another example of continued failure by this dealership to provide a quality service experience. I will give the sales department credit for trying to make there initial issue right. I have to mention though that the only reason they were willing to do so was because my neighbors were looking for new cars and when I told them about my experience they told the dealership they would not purchase the vehicles if they (west hills) did not correct the issue. Their purchase was for over 100k in vehicles so of course they would want to make things right rather than lose that kind of sale. Like I said I give the sales manager an A for effort and I feel I just got a subpar salesman the first round. However the service department falls far short of anything resembling customer service or a caring partner when it comes to this visit. While I would definitely purchase a new vehicle again from West Hills now that I know the people to work with I will not be returning for any type of service and would rather go to the other dealership that is over 30 miles away before wasting time in the West Hills service department again. They were rude,condescending, not customer obsessed, and willing to blatantly waste my time when a simple follow up 6 hours earlier could have cleared everything up. I would like to call out that I am updating my google review of this dealership to reflect my experience to date and I wish I could say that I was pleased or able to rate at more than 1 star but so far that is not the case

I asked for a car wash, but it turns out they don’t offer washes at that dealership. Instead they gave me a few coupons for free car washes at another place. Perfect!!

Unfortunately the wrong piece was ordered for my appointment and they didn’t know it was too late. I’m currently living in Seattle so it’s increibly inconvenient that I will need to come back for another appointment and hope they get the part order correct the second time.
