I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee that from a small dealer in Tacoma. The test drive went fine and I bought it. On the way home, I discovered the horn didn't work. It was missing some relays and a fuse under the hood which were replaced. This caused it to start giving codes and running poorly. I came to West Hills Jeep because after some diagnosis, I found there was a short and the modules needed tested. When I gave the service advisor the information, my input was not taken seriously and I was told that diagnosis would be done for $115. Thankfully, the service technician found a module unplugged under the steering column and fixed the grounding issue. The service advisor called and told me that was fixed, but the throttle body assembly needed replaced. I asked if he was certain about this and he said he was 90% sure. I agreed to the repair. The new throttle body was put on and then I was told it took out the PCM. When I initially dropped off the vehicle, I told the service advisor that when the wires to the PCM were wiggled, I could get the car to stall. This was why I wanted the FCM and ECM tested. After paying the $970 for the ground fix and a new throttle body, I drove away in limp mode waiting on a new PCM. I contacted the service manager and surprisingly, he called me back. He said that he would look at the notes and get back to me the next day. That didn't happen. I have yet to be contacted. I requested from the service advisor and the service manager to hold the old throttle body for me because I wanted to bench test it. I asked for it today from the service advisor and was told it was discarded. This brings the story full circle. When I bought this car for my kids to drive, I wanted to try the dealer service before I bought a new Rubicon for myself. After this experience, I find myself not only not wanting to get any Chrysler products, but any products from the West Hills autoplex.

I arrived to be told my service could not be done as arranged. The only reason I was able to complete the service was I was overheard by another service member who stepped in to help. I did receive a text to notify my vehicle was complete but no phone call. After picking up my car I found sharp plastic pieces protruding from the area around the steering wheel. Overall your service has been consistently poor for the last handfull of visits.
