Cam is a great service advisor and was most helpful. He understood my needs and complied with request to alter the scheduled service. I didn’t feel i needed a all wheel alignment since my car only has 31,185 miles. I did appreciate that. He was quite pleasant and greeted me the moment I pulled into the service area. I also wanted to mention that when I picked up my car one of your technicians, Grant answered a few questions and showed me how to use the settings option in my car. So thank you

A yes or no, does not cover the full extent of the question. I found Colin, the asst manager to be very responsive, helpful and kind, as well as professional. However, I found the overall dealership lacking. ie, a note apologizing for no longer providing a car was ACROSS town, isn’t a big loss. West Hills should apologize for not washing your car on site like most dealers. And, when my car was having a system failure, 500 miles from home with ONLY 23K miles, do you think I could get anyone on the phone to help (besides the receptionist - who was extremely empathetic)? The manager, John? couldn't be bothered to talk with me, I guess it was too much trouble. He was Skyping. But, not even an offer to call back. Big mistake. It set the tone for my opinion about West Hills. Word of mouth is worth something. I drove 500 miles as no one could tell me what ‘vehicle system failure’ meant, except “ it could be anything”. Find a dealer? Seriously? How was I suppose to locate a dealer from my car, on an off ramp at 7:30 in the morning? Then what? To hell with no help. I drove that piece of crap to your dealership, with the light on, and acceleration zip, at times. But you can bet I won’t be back, and people will hear what a piss poor dealership you have. Then, the finance gal said, after she was told I was selling this lemon, as it appears to break down every 12k miles (next time at 36k) my warranty is up - that she would look into seeing what bluebook is on this car, and run some numbers for me. Well? When I told her I wouldn’t buy my next Toyota from West Hills, nor would I trade it thru them, she assured me the info she found out, would be on my car. I smiled, and told my husband, “shall we bet on that?” Imagine my surprise that no attempt was made to do what she said she would. So here is my take on West Hills...when a car is run mostly on computers, and none of the service people know any more than I do, because ‘it could be any number of things”, than not only is Mazda failing to train properly, but the Manager should at LEAST attempt to pretend to care when asked to speak to a customer, who is worried sick about getting home.,no? And, the finance gal -Amber? Why even feign the desire to help? Oh, right, Potential he more business. Seriously? Well? at least Colin tried. He appeared genuine. Maybe you all should take a page out of his book. Because, I will never be back. Yeah, neither will any of my friends or work colleagues. You can bet on that!

The cost was high for an alignment. I could have gone to Les Schwab, but my car is great.

I wasn’t informed prior to my appointment that I had to order parts. That would have been very important to know. Also the staff couldn’t give me full answers to any of my questions it was “maybe” most likely” “probably” etc. I had to ask them to please verify before I pay 700 dollars it was honestly ridiculous. The employees who vacuum left my door cracked open causing my cars battery to die. It honestly shocked me that the people working didn’t have a clue of anything going on. My vehicle was brought in a few weeks ago for a diagnostic and parts list they stated they had it on file and it would be easy to retrieve them. They couldn’t do that when I got there and it took over an hour to find the paper work regarding parts the woman asked me if I ordered them it was dumbfounding I told her I was never informed and had no idea I could order the parts she also tried winging it on the parts saying “I think it’s these” I said no I need you to verify. If I’m paying 700 dollar I need to know that they are the correct parts. Horrible service today.
