i brought my explorer to diagnose the A/C problem but after diagnosis, total cost to repair will be almost $3k. I can't get it repaired on the same day for that amount but I told the advisor that I can get it done in 2wks. I asked if the diagnosis cost can still be applied towards the repair by then but she said no. the repair has to be done after the diagnosis. If it was only $1500 or less I would have got it repaired that day but it was twice my budget. So forget about it then.
