While I am happy with my most recent experience, I have been informed of something that makes me very unhappy with Haselwood as a whole, that makes me inclined to take my business elsewhere from now on. Before my 100,000 mile warranty was up, I took my car in for the 90k mileage maintenance and mentioned my concern that the car was burning oil at a fast rate, causing the oil light to go on every week or two. I was reassured that this was “simply due to the higher mileage on the car” and being a person that does not know vehicles, I took the news at face value. I have since been told by a personal friend that is a mechanic who has looked at my car, that the seals are worn out and this issue would have been visible before when I asked your service department to look into it. I now feel that I was purposefully misled so that Hyundai and or haselwood would not need to foot the bill for the repair during my warranty. I have been a loyal customer since 2012, my parents for years longer than that. I now have a car with significant issues that is no longer under warranty. I am not happy.

I felt welcome , respected, and was I kept informed during the service process.
A suggestion, however, with digital pictures so easy , if the inspecting mechanics would take a picture to show customers damaged parts —- like in my case CV boots— it would go a long way toward an owners understanding of the need for replacement. Not all repairs would be helped by a picture but some would.
AND everyone was very friendly.

I'm glad my car is finally fixed but I am not happy that I couldn't be refunded for a diagnostic when it was covered under my warranty. Very discouraging and clearly a bad example of putting the customer first.
