My experience saturday at Bremerton Hasselwood was a nightmare, absolutely horrible. I was lied to and there was an attempt to rob me, swindle me financially, and to cover their tracks and lie more when i started to ask questions.
I madde an apointment a week prior to March 30th 9am with service at Hasselwood. I told service i meeded a new turn signal for my 09 HHR i bought there new. I think i have bought 4 new vehicles there over the years. So it kinda feels like a vetrayal to be treated the way i have been treated there. And i was feeling pretty stupid for doing business there after my last service appointment. Its always the same, dishonesty front and center. Like the totall rear end assembly replacement on my 09 Silerado through Cameron. He should have been fired over the handleling of that. Willful and deliberate dishonesty and an attempt to fleece and bilk me financially.
After my HHR sat there for six hours i was given a call by different services person than instarted the day with. It was bad because our time is valuble and we were on hold all day waiting for the car to be fixed.
Brandon called and gave me some song and dabce about good news bad news. Good news according to him was that they can order turn signal switch that he said they dont have. The bad news was that the part costs over 600 dollars. I could feel my blood pressure rising because they waited all day to tell me something that did not make any sense. I told them i would be right down there to pick up car even though it was unfixed.
I immediately looked online and saw that part westbay auto and O'riley for 30 bucks. As i drove to Hasselwood i told myself to stay calm, because I was upset. I looked for service manager when I got there but office was closed. I didnt even wanna talk to the kid at the counter blowing smoke. I went to parts department and a guy named Paulnwas very helpful taking time to get paperwork and look up part to see if there was some misunderstanding. After a half an hour the word was it looked like a couple of numbers were transposed, sonya part was only 40 bucks and guess what they had the part there. Brandon was so ready to take my 600 dollars for a part that did not exist according to a numbers trandpossed story. I just hate being lied to. You guys are suppossed to be my friends. I could go on for an hour about how the service guy should checked the number thenpart, the diagram. You know why he didn't? Because he knows some way to take the money and produce a part later, at a rip off price...right to his pocket. A shiester, criminal, dishonest. My car sat ther all day with the part there, but someone had anplan to stuck it to me. How was he gonna order a part with a wrong part number, (opps) but still take the money? After i started asking questions and demanding fair treatment all i heard was a bunch of more lies and excuses. They had my car fixed in half an hour 45 min after it sat there all day holding us hostage to the situation. Then he still charged me for couple of hundred bucks for diagnostics, and a couple of hindred for labor and 40 hucks forna.part!!!! I hate you guys. I am going to contact GM higher up and let as many people know whats goingg on down there. This is not the first time shadybdealings down there. I might talk to an attorney. I feel like i should have my fee for service thT day refunded to make thingsxnright again. I left out so many things you dont have to be a detective to see a whole lot wrong with my service appointment. I wouldnt be suprised if you did an internal audit and find systematic fraud and fleecing. I want to talk to service manager tomorrow. I am really upset. I been good to you guys. I buy all my cars ther and get all my service there. I cant believe you treat me this way. John O
