MARCH 10, 2018 MARCH 5, 2018 THE DRIVER SIDE PASSENGER SLIDING DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN. ONE DAY IT WOULD WORK THAN THE NEXT DAY IT WOULD NOT. HASELWOOD REMOVED PANEL AND UNSTUCK THE LOCK ALLOWING IT TO WORK AGAIN. MARCH 6, 2018 THE NEXT MORINING THE PASSENGER DOOR AGAIN WOULD NOT OPEN. THE ORIGINAL COMPLAIT IS STILL THE SAME; PROBLEM WAS NOT CORRECTED. NEED TO REDUE REPAIRES INSURING ALL BUTTONS, SWITCHES, AND HANDELS TO OPEN SLIDING DOOR ARE FUNCTIONING. Signed up for $40 service special. Service department tried to charge $60. They said they'd fix it, but ended up charging $43.95 plus tax. Also, I know I have one daytime running light out, as well as one license plate light out. However, those areas checked out fine on the multi-point vehicle inspection. Had e-brake adjusted at les Schwab when not holding the vehicle, and it checked out fine at the dealership previously. I'm not sure if anything on the list is really checked.

My beef is not with the dealership necessarily. It’s the fact that the 34 dollar part took a month and a half to get. If GM has a back order of a part for a month and a half, something is wrong. If something is wrong, maybe GM could pay for the rental after the person’s insurance stops paying for it. I also have a nice little door ding that I know wasn’t there when I pulled in, but I can’t prove it so I won’t bother to ask to get it repaired. I also don’t want to be without my truck any longer than I already have been so I’ll just live with it. I also don’t like when I ask an insurance manager about GMs policy on rentals near the tail end of what turned out to be a 90 day back order and he uses words like “once Again”. I feel like that’s a little disrespectful. Needless to say I think I’ll be choosing grey Chevrolet for my future maintenance and repairs. That won’t get me away from GMs policy on back orders, but maybe their service manager is nicer. I will make sure my fellow GM owners at work do the same. Aaron was cool though I guess.
