I had a 10 am appt for an oil change. After 1 pm I called to check on the status of my vehicle. I was told the results then asked if I wanted any of the recommendations. I asked for one of them. When I asked why I wasn’t called
In the first place, I was told they were really busy and short help. I wasn’t a walk in and I waited half of the day for my car. I waited another hour and wasn’t notified whether my car was complete the second time. I secured a ride and went to the service area. My car was complete however no call was made to notify me of that. Right after I left the dealership I received a text message saying it was done. My time is valuable as this was my day off and I had numerous errands to complete which I was not able to do.

James came out to greet me before I got out of the car. We went over what needed to be done and how long it would take. He called me within two hours to tell me I was ready to go. Asked me also if I had coupons which I did. I saved $75.00 and also I had a birthday so I received tickets and a gift card to the movies. It was a great fun day. He was very cordial. Lots of stars from me.????????

Cameron was great, however the people providing the service, not so much. After I left the dealership, I found out that all my mirrors had been moved (rearview, and both outside mirrors). I almost had an accident getting on the highway because of it. They also reset the radio (not one of my channels) and turned my cruise control off. I'm not sure what these things were done, other than to mess with me. Not very professional.

Ultimately things got resolved to satisfaction, but it was way too much of a fight to get rudamentary repairs that were supposed to be covered under my warranty. I wish the process of working with West Hills Honda wasn’t always a hold-my-breath and hopefully the other shoe doesn’t drop type of experience. I shouldn’t walk in with the expectation that I’m going to have to meticulously track every single interaction I’ve ever had. It should be a smooth, linear experience.
