Just moved to Washington and first time to West Hills Honda! I own a 2008 Honda Accord that I’ve had from day 1! James did an excellent job from check in to check out! When I scheduled the service appt I asked about having the “system update” done that I was told I needed at my last appt, in addition to the recall notice that I had received in the mail. The lady was clueless as to what I was talking about. We called the day before to hopefully talk to someone else that would know the two things we needed done and to get a time estimate. For some reason they couldn’t give that to us. Whatever. My husband went and waited. They addressed the recall in about an hour. That was fine. When he went to check out, they said the computer already showed that the “update” or whatever it was, was done per their computer system. No it wasn’t. I specifically asked about getting that done at the time of scheduling and they were clueless. Now they told us it was completed, which was wrong. Then apparently they said they don’t do that update on Monday or Saturday because they have less staff and that we should just contact them if we have any issues. We don’t even know what the thing is that needs to be done so I have no idea what issues would be. Im just annoyed that I tried to address both things in one sitting and first they didn’t know what I was talking about and then they wrongly told me it was already completed. So now I guess I just have to wait for something to go wrong before I address it? Not cool. At the very least, it’s going to be another annoying trip to the dealer and another morning wasted. This is a brand new car and we are eager to keep everything good and up to date. Our service last time was great. This time was disappointing.
