I came in with a rubber piece loose under my car as well as oil change. Once my car was ready I was told by Rene that the rubber piece was put back and that t “pan” missing I asked how that happened he just said it happens and it is the pan that keeps debris from getting under there. Rene said that rubber piece that is hanging “again” wouldn’t hang anymore.
Now Nissan wants $150.00 for this pan, my 2013 Nissan Altima is ALWAYS on Nissan’s rack for servicing in fact Nissan is the only dealer that services my car, so I’m not understanding why this was not noticed since they put in writing that a thorough inspection is done, I just got my car off Chandler Nissan a couple of months ago so I’m not totally understanding why this was not detected.
What seemed to be just a screw missing has now turned into $150.00 repair fee.
I think maybe it’s time for me to move on, I take excellent care of my car, in fact I’m always seeing a business card from one your mechanics wanting to buy “Queen Eleanor”. I’m not satisfied with this. They did however get me in and out in a timely manner with me not having an appointment to change the oil, and I truly thank them for that because they did not have to do that. That pan under my car should’ve never became a missing part and the expense passed on to me. I’m not at all happy.

The actual service work was impeccable. My service rep was not available when I dropped off the truck, it took several hours for him to return my calls and the paperwork was not ready when I was told truck was ready for me to pickup. Service rep was very pleasant, personable. Finally, when I was finalizing paperwork and truck was brought around for me, my truck was left running well out of the covered service bay, which made me a bit uneasy.
