There are so many things...I took my 2015 Superduty Diesel 4x4 pick-up into Raceway Service hearing a low roar in the front end. As expected a front wheel bearing was going out. The technician identified a few more items, thermostat replacement, replace leaky cooler tube, rear brake pads, rotors, seals, and shocks, all four. I get wear and tear so not surprised by the shocks & brakes. However, here's where it got ugly. While completing the wheel bearing fix and leaky cooler tube he broke the turbocharger. My truck was left on Friday, January 24th. Dianosis was completed and I consented to the repairs. On Monday late in the day, I was informed my truck was ready, but wait the technician had broken the turbocharger and the service manager was investigating this issue. No call from Raceway Ford on Tuesday, January 28th. I called twice to see if they could let me know what had been determined. On Wednesday, January 29th I again called twice, and again no communication from Raceway Ford. On Wednesday, I received a sheepish phone call from Raceway Ford and learned the turbocharger had been broken by the technician and my original contact person had been out the past two days. When I asked why no one from Raceway had contacted me I was told a second person said he called. I have no record of any recent phone calls from Raceway Ford. IPhones don't lie, people do! There was no call! On Friday, late afternoon I received a call that informed me the technician on a brief test drive noted an indicator light for the Reductant Pump sensor. It needs to be replaced to the tune of 1400+ dollars. My pick-up remained at Raceway Ford for the entire second week. On Friday, February 7th, two weeks to the day I picked up my pickup truck and was less than 5 miles from Raceway Ford, the check engine light came on. I immediately called Raceway Ford 5 minutes before closing - no answer. I left a message and returned my pickup on Monday. It took two days and the technician identified the reductant pressure was at 4 PSI and should be at 72 PSI. He took the reductant pump off and found small pebbles were blocking the airway. The technician cleaned and replaced the reductant pump. Pressure returned to 72 PSI. I picked up my pickup late on Tuesday, February 11th.
Did I ever hear from the Service Manager, that's a hard NO!
Due to the poor quality of the technician and the incredibly poor communication, I will not return to Raceway Ford and respectfully hope you consider this if you choose to use their services.
