Please if I ever take my Jeep back to you I won’t want to work with Laura, she wanted me to pay $600 to run a diagnostic on my Jeep she mentioned “to start” my experience was good when I took my car and they replace the computer. I’m taking my Jeep to another place to see if the are able to find the problem and I won’t get stuck paying $609 for a diagnostic

I had a very confusing and frustrating time dealing with the service department. Due to a recall, I needed to get my vehicle towed to the dealership from San Diego. I was never able to get ahold of anyone when I called so I left msg. Then I received a msg from Laura Jimenez saying to call her back to work out the details. I called her every hour for the rest of the day Friday and left a msg each time. I never heard back from her. Since they were closed Saturdays and Sundays, I called again on Monday and again did not get her. I then called the main line for the dealership and spoke with the main front desk person who tried to get ahold of the service department, but even she could not get anyone to pick up. She had to physically walk over to them and deliver my msg. An hour later I got a call back from Laura and she very bluntly have me the roadside assistance number and said to get it up there and they would look at everything. I then had to pay 70$ to get the car towed up there due to the recall issue. The next day, after attaining transport up there, I finally was standing outside the office if Laura Jimenez and she was on the phone. She never glanced at me or acknowledged my presence. When she got off the phone, I smiled and started to introduce myself, but she bluntly said "last name?" Which I gave. She found my paperwork and said the car would pull around... And that was it. No courtesy at all, no discussion on what was done. Just "heres the paperwork" and that's it. I had wanted other issues with my car to be looked at as well, but because no one would actually talk with me I never had a chance to bring the other issues up. It's frustrating because I want my car looked at by the dealership, but am hesitant due to the rough experience.

I have never had any issues with the service and Laura is always very communicative. One thing that could be improved on is the wait time to oick up the car. Seems people are very busy and you need to waite for your service adviser. Other than that it is always a great experience.

Laura was great to work with however my concern lies with Bob Baker as a service provider. After spending about $200 just for an oil change and tire rotation it shocks me that I don’t even get a complimentary car wash. So basically I feel like I have to waste a couple of hours for an over priced oil change when I can go to jiffy lube or similar for half the cost. I also provided a 10% off coupon at time of drop off and it was not applied to my final invoice.

I was told my battery would be replaced under warranty and it was not. I was charged $165 for a diagnosis not knowing that I would be charged for it. I actually said it was the same problem I had previously with this jeep that Bob Baker fixed. I understand that jeep only replaces the parts that are damaged under warranty, but now the ones that weren’t replaced are now having issues. I would have liked the option to pay for the remainder myself. It would have made sense to replace them all when the warranty work was done and I gladly would have paid. Now it’s twice as much because it has to be done all over again when it could have been done in the first place. I have been coming to Bob Baker for every service for over 6 years as well as my father and his jeep. I have owned 15 wranglers. Two family members purchased their jeeps directly from Bob Baker. This was all very disappointing and I doubt I will come back. Thanks, Chris
